Junior Reds is delighted to announce that the club has been awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Football Fund, being delivered in partnership with Sported. The grant has been awarded to provide introductory starter football sessions for girls of primary school age in a friendly, fun and supportive environment.
Coach, Clive, explained “We are keen to expand our football opportunities for girls from age 6 to 11 years. We will do this by offering football sessions exclusively for girls of all abilities on Saturday mornings at Bexleyheath Academy from 11.00am to midday.
These sessions will be provided free of charge as the cost is supported by the Barclays Community Football Fund. Hopefully we will generate enough interest to form some new girls’ teams at Under 8 – 11s next season”.
All girls of Primary School age are very welcome to come along. Further details can be obtained from Clive on 07504 264 157 or email clive@juniorredsfc.co.uk
