Our Jack Petchey Foundation “Outstanding Achiever” for September is William Rufus, a member of our Under 14 Athletic team.
Team Manager, Chris, said: “William assists us on every training session carrying equipment and setting up the goals. William also helps with the training of our goalkeeper before the other boys arrive. He has been an integral part of the team for a number of years, playing in numerous positions within the team including winger, midfielder, goalkeeper, and currently defender.
William never complains and accepts the positions he is asked to play. He is always supportive of other players and a great asset to Junior Reds. I am pleased William has been recognised for the special qualities he brings to the Under 14 Athletic team over a considerable period.”
