Our second Jack Petchey “Special Achiever” for the month of October is Abdulsalam Ahmadu. Abdul is a member of our Under 15s Valiants team.
Team Manager Nick commented “Abdul came into our team last season and was a very quiet individual and he did not know anyone else from the squad. He has turned into one of our most influential players, athletic, powerful and skilful. He gets targeted physically by other teams but just rides the challenges and comes back harder but always fair.
He will play anywhere we ask him and recently he has started to come out of his shell more and has taken upon himself to welcome new players into our squad. He does all of that with a big smile on his face.
He was also voted our “Players’ Player of the year” last year. He is modest and greatly respected by his team as a decent caring individual”.
