The Mini Reds is a newly formed football activity designed for children aged from three to six years.
This group meets at Bexleyheath Academy on a Saturday from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
Club Chairperson, Clive Chivers, explained ” We have been aware for some time a need exists to provide some basic football activity for children in the youngest age groups from age 3 to 6 years. In collaboration with “Comic Relief” Mini Reds has been formed as a consequence and takes place each Saturday for an hour. We divide the children into three age groups and utilise the Sports Hall and field at Bexleyheath Academy. Pleasingly some of our older female players have readily agreed to lead the Coaching and have been very enthusiastic. This has been a perfect formula in producing fun and friendly sessions often with a laugh thrown into the sessions!”
If your child wishes to join Mini Reds do come along on a Saturday. The group is casual based; low cost at only £3 a session; operates on a simple “pay and play basis” and thanks to “Comic Relief” support is designed so all can attend irrespective of personal financial circumstances.
