Our Jack Petchey Foundation “Outstanding Achiever” for April is Elliott Manning.
Elliott is a member of our Under 13 Knights team.
Team Manager, Joe, said “Elliott joined the team last season. He previously fell out of love with the game due to a poor experience in other teams and it was uncertain if he would continue to play football. He came along to the “Knights” team and has in time, from a low confidence point, grown to become an important player in our team. Elliott consistently shows his skills playing in multiple positions and has become a big part of the team. He has scored 13 goals (including 4 on his league debut) and has plenty of assists. He always trains well with a great attitude, and is a great team mate to all his squad. I am proud to see his progression in many aspects”.
In partnership with the London Football Association we have launched our “Wildcats” football sessions at Junior Reds.
Wildcats is non-competitive football for girls from age 5 to 11 years who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.
This group meets at Bexleyheath Academy (DA6 7DA) on Saturday mornings at 10.00am until 11.15am.
If interested simply come along on a Saturday or book on-line using the Football Association facility under “Find Football”.

Our Jack Petchey Foundation “Outstanding Achiever” for March is Sam Barrett – a Coach in of our Under 11 Valiants team.
Team Manager Francesco said “Sam has been supporting Bhal and me for the past three years. Sam is a key member of the coaching team, always encouraging the boys to strive for success and giving them his unwavering support. Recently, Sam has shown great creativity by preparing drills and consistently leading the goalkeepers’ warm-up before matches. His dedication and contribution to the team is incredibly valuable. His commitment, enthusiasm, and positive impact make Sam a deserving candidate to be recognised under the Jack Petchey scheme”.
Our Jack Petchey Foundation “Outstanding Achievers” for May and June are Arjan Thind and Henry White – members of the Under 18s team.
They are recognised for their exceptional commitment and support to the Club and their team over 10 years. They are the only two players who have stayed with the team since Under 8s. It is calculated each has made 300 appearances for Junior Reds over the decade.
Team Manager, Warren commented “They have been excellent role models and are well respected. They are my senior players and have consistently demonstrated leadership, maturity and social awareness. They are always welcoming to new member arrivals and encourage all around. Their positive attitude in training and towards their teammates has always been exemplary”.
